The North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic is excited to share that we continue to be a part of a state-wide program in Illinois, the Immigrant Legal Support Program (ILSP) lead by The Resurrection Project and the IDHS.
ILSP holds regular workshops to immigrants in Illinois. At our workshops, you are able to speak directly with an attorney about your immigration case and receive advice. In addition, we hold weekly Know Your Rights presentations, Orientations on What to Expect at Your ICE/ISAP Check-Ins and Safety Planning Workshops, where we are providing Short Term Guardianship and Letters of Power of Attorney for Finances for individuals who fear they will be detained by ICE.
