USCIS has temporarily paused the processing of applications filed by individuals paroled under Uniting for Ukraine (U4U), the Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan (CHNV) parole process, and Family Reunification Parole programs.
This pause does not mean these relief options, such as TPS, are permanently closed. While USCIS officers cannot issue decisions at this time, applications already filed may still be processed in the future. Filing a timely application for TPS or other immigration relief may also help prevent accrual of unlawful presence while it is pending. Learn more here.
