Please join us in helping to make access to justice a reality for those in need by supporting our 2020 Spring Event. Together we will celebrate a major milestone – the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic’s 5th Anniversary.
On May 7, 2020, local business and civic leaders, the legal community and Clinic supporters will come together at Pinstripes to celebrate and support the Clinic. The event will include a reception, client testimonials, as well as a silent auction and raffle.
Before May 1, 2015, individuals and families in northern Cook County and southern Lake County struggled to find resources to protect their livelihood, their health, and their overall well-being. Today – nearly five years later – those in need turn to the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic. They take comfort in knowing that accessible, high-quality, pro-bono legal representation in the areas of domestic violence, housing, and immigration is available to meet their needs when and where they need it. The Clinic continues to grow exponentially. In 2019, staff and volunteers provided legal counsel to over 870 people in our community, more than the 550 we helped in 2018. We have helped community members stay in their home, gain legal immigration status, or escape an abusive relationship.
It is easy to make a difference and support those in need.
- Sponsorship: Make a big impact and become a sponsor! There are a variety of sponsorship levels that offer amazing benefits for corporate and individual sponsors. Please see the attached sponsorship sheet to learn more.
- Raffle Prizes/Silent Auction: Donating an item to our raffle/silent auction is a great way for your company to make a difference! No donation is too big or too small!
- Direct donations: If none of these opportunities appeal to you, we welcome a financial donation. As always, your donation will be tax-deductible and will directly help those in need who live or work in Highland Park and Highwood.
