Taco 5k Run, Walk and Stroll 2022

Celebrate Highwood is pleased to announce registration is open for the Taco 5K Run, Walk & Stroll benefiting the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic. You are invited to put on your sneakers, grab your family, friends, strollers and/or pets and join the fun on Saturday, July 23rd at 9 a.m. in Downtown Highwood. Register here! Runners and walkers can sign up HERE or at www.CelebrateHighwood.org now through midnight on Friday July 22nd. The registration fee is $35 per participant (stroller kids are free) and includes run t-shirt, complimentary taco from award winning La Plancha Loca, and for participants 21 and older, a choice of a Ravinia Brewing Company beer, Freshie Organic Tequila Seltzer, or Party Can cocktail or Cuervo Traditional margarita to enjoy at Taco Fest, located at Everts Park or Highwood Days, located at the Highwood Metra Station parking lot through Sunday July 24th.

 

Pre-race packet pick up will take place on Thursday, July 21 from 10 AM–1 PM at Gearhead Outfitters, 621 Central Avenue, downtown Highland Park, or at Taco Fest on Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22 at the Celebrate Highwood booth in Everts Park, 111 North Avenue, Highwood, IL 60040. Race day on-site registration and packet pick-up will be at “Enjoy Highwood Park” at the southeast corner of Walker and Waukegan Avenues (just north of Bent Fork Bakery at 355 Waukegan Avenue) beginning at 8 AM.
