In 2015, North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic (NSLAC) opened its doors with one staff member, one zip code, and a powerful mission: to provide free legal services to those in need. In our first year, we proudly served 84 clients. Ten years later, NSLAC has supported more than 10,000 individuals and families across Lake County and the northern suburbs of Cook County in the areas of domestic violence, immigration, and housing law.
On May 3, 2025, we gathered with local leaders, the legal community, and longtime supporters at our 10th Anniversary Celebration - A Recipe for Justice - to reflect on the journey and look ahead to what’s next. Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, sponsored, or contributed in any way. Your support ensures free, accessible access to justice for our neighbors who need it most.
