Advisory Boards

Attorney Advisory Board

Nobody can build a great organization alone. Since 2018, North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic Attorney Advisory Board members have been assisting NSLAC with outreach to clients and supporters, assisting and managing cases, helping with events, serving on committees, and more.

We are grateful to have so many talented attorneys contributing time and expertise to ensure that every client in need of access to justice in the areas of domestic violence, housing, and immigration is able to receive it.

Some of the ways our Attorney Advisory Board helps us fulfill the mission of NSLAC:

  • Manage and/or assist with client cases
  • Provide legal advice and/or alert us to administrative issues, policies, ethics, collaborative opportunities, and more
  • Amplify our outreach efforts and help deliver advocacy messages to clients and supporters
  • Attend and/or volunteer our annual fundraiser
  • Attend our Annual Board meeting
  • Attend and/or volunteer at other events and clinics throughout the year
  • Assist with the student board(s)
  • Participate in the Advocacy and/or Event Planning Committee

Members of this committee are a trusted and valued resource. Our staff attorneys could not fulfill requests for direct service without these individuals. We are eager to expand our reach.

We welcome new expertise, ideas, guidance, and referrals of both clients and supporters. To get involved please email Operations Manager, Jan Baranczak at jbaranczak@nslegalaid.org.
