Join North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic (NSLAC) and the Buffalo Grove Police Department for a two-part presentation: The Red Flags of Domestic Violence followed by Evictions and Tenant Rights. This is a virtual event.
The first portion will focus on the prevalence of domestic violence among adults and teens as well as legal remedies that are available to survivors.
The second presentation will focus on the eviction process as well as tenant rights with an overview of the court process and an explanation on how our services can help.
Each presentation will be followed by a discussion with the NSLAC Domestic Violence Social Workers and Housing Outreach Coordinator to answer questions about the legal process and other community resources.
