In partnership with Niles Township, North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic is pleased to host a free Power of Attorney for healthcare and property on Thursday, May 9th, from 4:00 pm. – 7:00 pm.
Powers of Attorney allow a person to name an “Agent” to help with medical and financial decisions in the event of a person’s incapacity. While powers of attorney are very important to anyone, they are especially important to those leaving high school to enter college or the workforce. Volunteers will meet with people to execute powers of attorney for healthcare and property. Each attorney will meet with, at most, three clients during the clinic to help draft powers of attorney.
