This two-part training is designed to train lawyers without experience in immigration on naturalization law, screening for naturalization eligibility, and filling out the N-400 form. Part One will cover the eligibility requirements for naturalization, and Part Two will cover special considerations, the N-400 form and filing, and a practical exercise where attendees will be given a problem to work through and discuss with the presenter. Our goal is to provide pro bono attorneys with training so that they can conduct naturalization screenings in the community and help clients prepare their applications if they wish. The trainings will be recorded in the event people are unable to attend both. However, IL CLE credit will only be provided for live attendance. To register, please click the registration links above.
