Volunteer Spotlight: Bob Badesch

Bob Badesch is a dedicated volunteer attorney at the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic with the Domestic Violence Law Practice. Bob was a practicing attorney for 45 years. He was a Founding Member and Senior Partner at Badesch Ambramovitch for 15 years. He was also a practicing attorney at other law offices, including the Cook County Public Defender, and was an Adjunct Professor of Law at DePaul University College of Law.

Bob Badesch pursued a career in law in order to make access to justice a reality for all people. He feels most fulfilled helping underserved communities and those in need. Bob explains, “the most meaningful times were my years at the Public Defender's Office. I have found the same satisfaction in representing victims of domestic violence at the Clinic. The Clinic provides an invaluable resource in the community. The lawyers and support staff on the Domestic Violence Law team, led by Rebecca Weininger, are doing extraordinary work and I am proud to be a part of that effort.”

Bob is an essential part of the Domestic Violence team and continues to contribute his expertise whenever he can. We are so appreciative of the time he dedicates to helping the Clinic.
